Georgian Farmhouse, Flansham, West Sussex
A Grade II listed house in the hamlet of Flansham, West Sussex which, to all intents and purposes, would appear to be an early Georgian farmhouse.
Analysis of the building fabric revealed that the house had seen several development phases, beginning in the late 17th century as a small farmhouse. After growing during the local agricultural boom of the 18th century, the house was subdivided in the late 19th century into labourers' cottages, being reunified in the 1910s.
The owner commissioned us to prepare a Historic Building Appraisal to establish the development and significance of the building.
